The brand I can immediately relate to Jessica Alba’s style, not many locals dig deep on the versatility and campness of what Tory Burch collection could help emulate. Look beyond their ubiquitous logo flats and tote, and you will find pieces that are somewhat Hamptons chic meets New York State of Mind. Case in point, is their recent Spring 15 collection.

Taking inspiration from a page of Francoise Gilot’s life with Pablo Picasso back in the heyday, you can spot elements relating to Pablo’s interest in ceramics and prints with strong Northern African influences. Its taking Tory Burch’s staples and injecting a dose of artisanal eseences; like the raffia tweed jackets, those organic espadrilles and paint-dipped necklaces. I chose this frock that beautifully hangs well on my rather disporportionate frame and finsihed off with a trendy backpack with digital Afrocentric prints. A nice mix of modern meets heritage assemble from this season’s Tory Burch offering. If this do not feel like summer, I dont know what is!
