Sustainable fashion.

When words like eco and fashion combine, not many could visually procure an appealing idea of fashion produced with this objective. H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection has zapped off that mentality with yet another winning line-up from the brand’s annual  fashion initiative.

Only H&M could make dressing up an ethical style statement where the masses could realistically pull off. Take it from the brand’s new face for the collection in 2015, actress and humanitarian (and PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian 2014) Olivia Wilde to take on the style to awards shows flawlessly.

Olivia proves that you don’t need a couture piece to rock the red carpet: teasing us with this gorgeous painterly maxi printed skirt with an organic tee and fine accents to highlight her entire ensemble.

Even celebs like Jessica Chastain makes high street sustainable chic in this assymetrical beaded frock from the collection – to an Oscar’s after-party fete!

The collection took inspiration from earthly materials itself: drawing on-trend details like Japanese paint techniques and African embellishments with recycled beads as few of the fine points you can observe in the collection.

With materials like hemp, organic linen, cotton and silk; the interesting play with these raw fabrics revealed an interesting take to the designs and pieces like the silk tuxedo suit with slashed elbow details, a gown with hand-drawn images of birds and Tencel jacquard just to name a few!

Who says ethical fashion cant be dramatic?

Those salivating already, could mark their calendars on April 16th (ahh how serendipitously close to my 26th birthday :3) for the collection to be releases in stores worldwide!

Here, the gorgeous actress chirps in on how much she loves working for the brand, and the clothes, of course!
