Wedding chaos put aside, I’m finally on to get the OOTD ball rolling once more, primarily with my fave Uniqlo wares.

What I most adore about Uniqlo, is its array of designer collaborations that redefine what functional style is like.

With +J collection, Uniqlo continues its successful streak with Jil Sander in releasing a line of clothes best suited for the girl on the go. The +J procured pieces that are quintessentially versatile in any given situation. For instance is this dress that is abso-utilitarian but works perf as a work-to-formal transcendant piece.

Even as a layering piece, the dress could be worn as its own, or layered with another jacket on top.

Or as I did, tied as a skirt against a white cropped top:

I also picked this gem from the collection.

Oh, do I hear ‘Not another blazer’ blaring in the distance?

From the +J Collection,  I took my inspo the un-official way. playing with suedes for a Safari-esque manner, to this two-piece take with my favorite pair of culottes from Topshop.

While blazers may only seem to conform to the confines of the outerwear specie, I, beg to differ.

A double whammy of a look with the +J trench/dress layered underneath the +J blazer for extra omph. My version takes me from Carolina Herrera, ultimately eliminating its one trick pony status.

That’s +J for you..not basic at all! 😉

You can get a piece of this amazing collab at your nearest Uniqlo now to try out your a la mode yourself 😉
