Here you go, The lowdown/crackdown of the outfits I wore to Fashion Week, and some after along with details of what’s on me (support local!) and the feedbacks I’ve received from peeps:p

Day 1:

Just arrived to such a sunny weather and (finally) managed to catch up sleep on what would have been an almost impossible feat from an aviophobic as myself. Barely jet-lagged, I set my sights out to explore (or shop, really) in London to grab hold of the main essentials or neutral pieces to wear along with my statement pieces. Inspired by my surroundings, I took my Oxfords out and pair my Hamptons-esque sweater for an Ivy League, smart look for a comfortable stroll to break bank.

Trench: Monki

Inner and Sweater: H&M

Jeans: Zara (DIYed the hem)

Shoes: Zara

Bag: Chanel

Sunglasses: Muzik Eyewear by Respec.Co

Day 2:

With 3 shows back-to-back and not really sure what to make of my outfit(I didn’t want to go overboard, but really wanted to make an impression), I took out the belt from HIDE (check this local Malaysian designer at his insta handle @wearHIDE ) and wrap ’em around a very risque Afiq M skirt (here, at @AfiqMOfficial) with Pretty Woman boots. Note: it was a street style hit (at least I think so) and I have to remember to uber my trips next time and avoid the Underground at all cost unless you want to get unsightly stares from people. However, the look was actually very comfortable, apart from the constant struggle of clinching the HIDE belt securely while I sashayed around London. I am loving the bargain hunting find of a boot that costed only RM22!

Top: Mango

Belt: HIDE

Sunglasses: Dior

Skirt: Afiq M

Boots: Bargain Hunting find.

Day 3:

Only 2 shows today, so I was feeling rather relaxed and feeling not too bothered about going overboard with my OOTD (plus, I am going around town via the tube, so I have to make sure everything’s comfortable and warm). I took my ideas from the French, wearing a newspaper boy cap against an oversized Primark sweater (yes, you heard me, Primark) and run-down black sheer tights and latex loose boots. Despite its simplicity, the boots clinched the entire look down pat, and I dont really have the chance to snap a full look but here’s the only snap that I managed to take before I headed out for a whole day of adventure (I went vintage shopping at Whitechapel and couldnt feel my legs after).

Cap: H&M

Top: Primark

Skirt: H&M

Boots: Charles & Keith

Day 4:

It was the Paul Smith show today and anticipating all or most of fashion’s biggest names to attend (I spotted Hamish Bowles and froze in front of him like a frightened ostrich), I tried to embrace the Paul Smith-esque spirit (I think, or really, like Tommy H) and attempted to wear colors to embrace the essence of Spring, or the height of Summer since it was considered to be High Summer. I wore a black sweater under a macrame lace top with Americana stripes and a bright red vintage skirt and my go-to hat with mini Fendi tote. I got snapped by Vogue Japan! 😀 Will re-update the look when i found a better pic.

Turtleneck sweater: Mango

Lace Shirt and Skirt: Vintage

Boots: River Island

Bag: Fendi

Cap: H&M

But before the evening Paul Smith show, I wore a different look to the Phoebe English presentation:

Shirt: Vintage

Fur Stole: Forever 21

Shoes: Zara

Skirt: Moto Guo

Bag: Birkin

Leather Pants: Topshop

A brilliant half skirt from local designer Moto Guo ( of which their special feature on their brand will go online on that I paired with my leather pants and billowy, sheen shirt and my aunt’s Birkin. ha! I may think that this could be one of the misses of my ootd roundup so far, I feel like the fur stole is making my neck look as if its resting on a travel pillow!

Need to wear faux fur at some point of this trip!

and that continued after to Kristian Aadnevik’s show..

Had to do two OOTD’s because of the flower photowall and how awesome this Afiq M top plays well with the black faux fur stole , Louis Vuitton’s Petite Malle clutch and buckled Nelissa Hilman shoes!

Top: Afiq M

Pants: H&M Malaysia

Shoes: Nelissa Hilman

Clutch: Louis Vuitton

Day 5:

This is the day where I bring the big guns out; I took out Fern’s most recent Autumn 15 creation, a favorite of mine to what would be the biggest show of the LFW season: Burberry!

Along with the crinkled chiffon stunner of a scarf, I wore the Fern suit in splattered print (all handmade prints!) to the show and boy do they turn heads!

Too bad my tummy wasn’t as toned as I hope it would be, so I ended up covering it most no thanks to PMS. But these would be one of my most fave looks of the week.

At night, I changed to another Moto Guo headliner for Vin + Omi show.

In signature mushroom-3d effect on the chest, this piece isn’t for the busty-chested for sure, heck I was too keen to put them on (it’s from their menswear line!) and wear them with flares to bring the quirky flavor out.

Trench: Zara

Flare pants: Monki

Shoes: Bargain Finds.

Top: Moto Guo

Day 6

Final day! Actually couldn’t wait to end the week after days of investing hours in front of the mirror to make sure that I get the street style snappers on a frenzy, especially since it was the Anya Hindmarch show, too! ( and Tommy Ton was there) Took out yet another Moto Guo top to go with the Anya Hindmarch roadworks clutch to the show, and these get the most shots throughout the entire day from photogs.

Inner top: H&M

Top: Moto Guo

Flares: Monki

Shoes: Bargain Finds

Clutch: Anya Hindmarch

Hat: Forever 21

After a whole day of shows, my sister joined me for the final day party at Middle Temple Hall, a quick slip of a faux fur vest coat and a skirt change is enough to make an impact.

Top, Skirt, Necklace: H&M

Vest: Vintage

Boots: Primark

Clutch: Anya Hindmarch

All in all, I love how it stays true to my philosophy of challenging the boundaries of styling; breaking rules and bending the norms of how clothes could be more than just a 1 dimensional piece.

Dress as a skirt, skirt as part of a trousers, shirt as a layering statement, pushing the envelope of styling is how I continue to find ways to thrive and be inspired in what I wear the next day. 😉

Stay tuned for the remaining looks throughout my strolls in London and Birmingham soon 🙂
