• An amazing opportunity for myself, this will be my first foray into the glitz and glam of pageant styling.

Though a slight out-of-practice gig for me, the world of beauty queens are not so foreign a subject for me. While editorial work places a strong emphasis on creating a need, the realm of the pageant queen styling feels like playing dress-up with Barbie doll doppelgangers with overblown tresses rather than the usual stick thin models.

For the Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 shoot, Albert Ian of Per Te Handmade and I have given the opportunity to style these lovely participants  for a very sexy swimwear concept. With the help of the accessory maestro, the girls showed off their hard-working bodies in fab swimwear from H&M and of course armored by Per Te Handmade. Check the behind-the-scenes shots of a few of the ladies styled by us twinnies!

(sorry for the rest who didnt get the coverage, had to run off to my Wedding Course appointment later that evening :p)

 The result:

and introducing, your next Miss Universe Malaysia 2015, Vanessa Tevi! 🙂
